Managing Principal, Global Head of Capital Markets & Co-chair of Alternative Investments, Member of Investment Committee
Christina Gaw has been the Managing Principal, Global Head of Capital Markets of Gaw Capital Partners since 2008. Ms. Gaw has also served as Co-chair of Alternative Investments of Gaw Capital Partners since 2021. Ms. Gaw has served as an Executive Director of Pioneer Global Group (SEHK: 224) since 2014, as well as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Member of the Sustainability Committee of CLP Holdings (SEHK: 2), a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited engaged in the power business in the Asia Pacific region, since 2020. Ms. Gaw was named Global PERE's Rainmaker 30 and awarded "Business Women of the Year Awards" by CEO Today Global Awards in 2019, and named as one of the Top 10 PERE's Women of Influence in 2021. Ms. Gaw has over 25 years of investment banking and investment management experience in the Asia Pacific region, having worked at UBS and Goldman Sachs for 15 years during her investment banking career, covering major institutional clients around the globe in Asian Equities. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Ms. Gaw was a Managing Director at UBS, heading up the Asia Pacific Capital Introduction effort for alternative products; prior to that, she was the Head of Regional Sales in Equities Distribution at UBS. Ms. Gaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
Kok Chye Ong
Managing Director - Head of Data Centre Platform, Asia (Ex-China)
Mr. Ong joined Gaw Capital in 2021 as Managing Director – Head of Data Centre Platform, Asia (Ex-China). He spearheads Internet Data Centre (IDC) platform investments for Gaw Capital Partners outside of the China region. Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Ong worked in the Keppel Group of companies for 10 years in a number of roles including being a Senior Vice President and since 2014, as the Head of Strategy and Global Investments at Keppel Data Centres, a regional data centre owner and operator with over 25 data centres spread across the APAC and European regions. He has over 20 years of international experience in data centres, telecom and submarine cable development projects. He has strong track record in fundraising, growing data centre businesses in key markets in Asia and Europe, and leading investment teams to acquire data centres in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and in the Netherlands. He was ranked by Data Economy in 2018 as one of the world’s top 25 finance deal makers in the data centre and cloud industry. Mr. Ong received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and graduated from the Sloan Fellows Program at Stanford University with a Master of Science in Management from the Graduate School of Business in 2007. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Singapore and Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accounts (ISCA) and CPA Australia.
Elizabeth Di Cioccio
Managing Director - Capital Markets, EMEA
Ms. Elizabeth Di Cioccio joined Gaw Capital as the Managing Director - Capital Markets, EMEA. In her role, she is responsible for the capital markets division for the Europe and Middle East region, driving strategic initiatives and fostering key relationships. She markets Gaw Capital’s global products across different asset classes, particularly in infrastructure sector and beyond. With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Ms. Di Cioccio has a proven track record of success in capital markets. Prior to joining Gaw Capital, Ms. Di Cioccio served as the Head of Middle East and Managing Director at KKR & Co. Inc. During her tenure, she oversaw KKR's business in the Middle East, focusing on raising capital from GCC-based sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) and other government and institutional clients. Her exceptional relationship management skills led her to raise over $10 billion during her tenure at KKR. Elizabeth also managed KKR's teams in Dubai and Riyadh. Before her tenure at KKR, Ms. Di Cioccio was a Partner at Mercury Capital Advisors in Dubai, where she successfully opened the firm's Dubai office and was responsible for distributing private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private credit, and hedge funds in the Middle East, the Nordic region, the UK, and Australasia. Ms. Di Cioccio's earlier career includes positions at Jefferies International and Merrill Lynch International. Ms. Di Cioccio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College.
